Storage

The pacifier should always be stored clean and dry, e.g. in a closed box or in a pacifier case. In particular, avoid placing the pacifier in direct sunlight or heat, as this may weaken the natural rubber. Also avoid sterilising the pacifier with anything other than boiled water.

Cleaning

Before using the pacifier for the first time, pour boiling water over it and leave it to soak for 5 minutes. Do not boil the pacifier. The pacifier should then be sterilised regularly by pouring boiling water over it. As it is a valve pacifier, liquid will enter the nipple. When the pacifier has cooled, squeeze the water out of the nipple to ensure hygiene.

Why is the nipple clear in the material on some pacifiers and matte in the material on others? Natural rubber latex is a natural material with many great properties, such as softness, tensile strength and high resistance to biting. However, latex also has natural variations in the material that may be visible in the right light. Therefore, the appearance of the nipple may vary in clarity and colour.
