It is pushed up and down for a tight seal. However, it can be a bit tight for the smallest fingers.

Material: Reusable and BPA-free plastic.

Cleaning: Can be washed in the dishwasher, but must not be scalded/boiled, as the shape will change.

REMEMBER to add Blafre Straws if the drinking bottle is to be used in an upright position.
