What is the NUK Trainer Cup (Pink, 230 ml)?

The NUK Trainer Cup (Pink) is a cup with handles designed to support a child’s first attempts at drinking from a cup. It can be used from 6 months and holds up to 230 ml.

Its flexible spout provides a soft surface for the mouth. The handles allow the cup to be held with both hands, whilst the ventilation valve ensures a steady flow and minimises spills.

What is it made of?

The main body is made of PP (polypropylene) plastic. The spout is made of soft TPE and works in conjunction with a silicone valve.

Instructions for use and cleaning

Attach the valve to the underside of the spout and screw this part onto the cup. Check that it is securely closed before offering it to your child. After drinking, remove the lid, spout, valve and body. Wash each part with lukewarm water and dry them separately.

From what age is it suitable?

Recommended from 6 months, when the baby begins to coordinate their grip and sucking when using a training cup. Must only be used under adult supervision.

Safety and maintenance

Check the spout and valve for signs of wear, including bite marks. Replace any damaged parts immediately. Do not attach ribbons or cords to the cup, and store the dismantled parts out of children’s reach.
